One person has been seriously injured after a train hit a vehicle in Pasco County on Wednesday.
The incident occurred at Old Lakeland Highway and Melrose Avenue, Pasco County Fire Rescue said on its Facebook page Wednesday afternoon.
The agency said one person was being taken away from the scene with serious injuries.
The intersection currently is blocked, Fire Rescue reported.
