Briefs

Saint Leo University will host an open house at 8 a.m. Nov. 10 at the school, 33701 State Road 52, St. Leo. Guests will become acquainted with the academic programs through conversations with faculty, resource fairs, and a variety of academic presentations and demonstrations. Visitors may tour the Saint Leo campus with current students, learn about clubs and organizations, meet with financial aid representatives, talk with their admissions counselors and more. High school seniors and transfer students may complete a complimentary application on-site. Check-in and breakfast are available from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the Student Community Center. University President Jeffrey D. Senese will welcome everyone, and there will be a presentation by Saint Leo’s Office of Admissions from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Check-in and late registration will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. by the clock tower at the Student Activities Building. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, and friends and family are welcome to attend. There is no cost for this event.

Pasco County Schools will host a Fall Instructional Job Fair from 4 to 6 p.m. Nov. 14 at Sunlake High School, 3023 Sunlake Blvd., Land O' Lakes. Pasco County Schools is seeking candidates for positions in math, science, emotional and behavioral disorders/autism spectrum disorder, exceptional student education, elementary education, school nurse, behavioral analyst, guest teachers. All education interns, teachers, student services employees, and those who have a bachelor’s degree and are interested in becoming certified educators are invited to the fall instructional job fair.
