TARPON SPRINGS — Firefighters late Friday found a man dead inside a condo engulfed in flames.

According to Tarpon Springs police, firefighters were called about 11:30 p.m. to the Sunset Shores Condominium Complex at 300 S Florida Ave. when a neighbor reported seeing flames coming out of a window of unit 300K.

Inside, they found the body of a man believed to be in his early 30s, said police Maj. Jeffrey Young.

Investigators don’t suspect foul play, Young said Saturday. But the agency is not releasing the man’s name until the Pinellas-Pasco Medical Examiner’s Office determines the cause of death.

“We don’t know anything until the autopsy is completed and we know the cause of death," Young said.

The fire was confined to unit 300K. The Fire Department and the State Fire Marshal’s office are investigating.
