SEMINOLE — The city was awarded a $200,000 state grant for Waterfront Park.

The grant requires a match from the city, which will use Penny for Pinellas funds, said City Manager Ann Toney-Deal at a recent City Council meeting.

Park elements funded by the grant include the observation boardwalk, an access trail, a picnic facility and landscaping. The city has until next year to complete the work funded by the grant, she said.
