A man was arrested Tuesday morning at his Clearwater apartment after detectives say they found images depicting child pornography on his online account.
Jeffrey O’Kelley, 34, faces two counts of possession of child pornography.
According to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, detectives launched an investigation on Aug. 13 after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
O’Kelley was identified as a suspect, and detectives recovered two images depicting child pornography from his online account.
O’Kelley told detectives that he owns and is responsible for the account, the Sheriff’s Office said.
He was arrested Tuesday around 8:45 a.m. and taken to the Pinellas County Jail.
Bail was set at $10,000.
