OLDSMAR — A man stabbed his wife to death at their Oldsmar home Sunday during an argument over infidelity, deputies said.
The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office announced just after midnight Monday that it was looking for 52-year-old Robbie Dinkins as a person of interest in the death of his wife. At about 10:20 a.m., Dinkins was located with the couple’s car at a Wawa gas station, Belcher Road and Gulf to Bay Boulevard.
Dinkins faces a charge of second-degree murder in the death of Lynn Dinkins, 47.
Dinkins told detectives during an interview that the two were arguing over allegations of infidelity, the Sheriff’s Office said. The confrontation turned physical and he stabbed her a number of times, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies were called to the couple’s home at 1707 Azalea Court to make contact with Lynn Dinkins but found her dead, the Sheriff’s Office said.
They issued a call for help from the public in finding her husband and the couple’s gray Hyundai Sonata, including the car’s license plate number.
