All eastbound lanes on the Pinellas Bayway opened again on Sunday afternoon after a being closed while St. Petersburg Police officers investigated a traffic crash, according to the department.
The crash happened around Leeland Street. The department said the crash resulted in serious injury.
The crash happened at the intersection, said department spokeswoman Yolanda Fernandez. A woman in her 80s was taken to Bayfront Health, and nobody else involved had serious injuries, she said.
No other information was immediately available.
