LARGO — Two people were killed in a crash Monday morning amid wet conditions on Keene Road, according to the Largo Police Department.

The driver of a Dodge Charger lost control of his car and swerved from the northbound lanes into southbound traffic around 10:15 a.m. near Rosery Road, police said. The car struck a southbound Jeep Wrangler head-on.

Both drivers and a passenger in the Jeep were taken to a hospital, where the Dodge driver and the Jeep passenger died. The Jeep driver was in serious but stable condition Thursday morning.

Police say wet road conditions contributed to the crash. Alcohol was not a factor.

No information was released about the three people involved in the crash.
