The 6.7-mile section of the trail winds its way through the Countryside area from Enterprise Road through to John Chesnut Sr. Park in Palm Harbor.
Local dignitaries and residents were on hand Friday as the brand new section of the Pinellas Duke Energy Trail was opened. The trail is complete except for some minor details and a pedestrian bridge over the Lake Tarpon Outfall Canal. Bridge construction is expected to begin next spring and conclude in summer 2024.
