TAMPA — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office Friday identified a 29-year-old Mississippi woman as a person of interest in a Thursday homicide.

Sara Rose Dearman, of Laurel, Miss., is wanted for questioning in the case. Her current whereabouts are unknown, the Sheriff’s Office said.

The Sheriff’s Office is also still looking for a white 1990 Lincoln Town Car sedan with a vinyl top in connection with the crime. The car’s license plate number is ZC73V.

The Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call just before 6 p.m. about a dead man found inside a mobile home at 7702 E Sligh Avenue. The man has yet to be identified, but the Sheriff’s Office said the death was suspicious. It was determined Friday that the man died from blunt force trauma to the chest. The death was ruled a homicide.

Anyone with information on the vehicle or Dearman is asked to call 911 and not approach.

This is a developing story. Stay with for updates.
