PALM HARBOR — A Holiday woman was killed Wednesday morning in a rollover crash on East Lake Road.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 32-year-old Erin Hodges was driving a 2000 Ford Explorer southbound on East Lake Road, south of Sandy Point Drive, around 7 a.m. when she lost control.

She drove onto the shoulder and, while over-correcting, swerved and overturned several times, the FHP said.

Hodges, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was taken to Mease Countryside Hospital, where she died, the FHP said.

The crash closed southbound lanes on East Lake Road for several hours.
