LARGO — The single-engine plane that made an emergency landing near High Point Elementary School on Saturday afternoon is owned by a Clearwater company, according to federal aviation records.
An officer with the National Transportation Safety Board identified the registration number of the Cessna T210M, but said he could not provide information about the pilot or the investigation, which was ongoing.
Just the pilot was on board and he was not injured, according to authorities.
The plane is owned by Pinnacle Sales LLC, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. An official with the company did not return a message Sunday.
Jose Obregon, an air safety investigator with the NTSB, said the agency will issue a preliminary report within a week.
