TAMPA — A Dade City man died Sunday after being thrown from his motorcycle on Interstate 75 in northern Hillsborough County, authorities said.
The Florida Highway Patrol said Glen W. Keen, 61, was traveling south near Bruce B. Downs Boulevard at 9:30 a.m. when his 2001 Honda drifted off the road and struck a concrete barrier.
The motorcycle continued along the wall for 280 feet. Keen was ejected and landed on the outside lane. The patrol said he was not wearing a helmet.
The investigation was continuing.
