TAMPA — A Tampa man died in the early morning hours Wednesday when the car he was driving drifted off the road and collided with a utility pole, Hillsborough sheriff's deputies said.
Frederick Thomas Wilson, 28, was driving a 2014 Hyundai Elantra north on 78th Street when the crash occurred around 12:17 a.m., deputies said.
An investigation remained under way at 9 a.m. Wednesday. No further information was immediately available.
