LARGO — Four people were seriously injured in a crash Thursday night when a driver lost control of his vehicle, swerved into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a car, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Arman H. Mouradian, 20, of Pinellas Park, was driving his 2014 Nissan two-door east on Brian Dairy Road near Starkey Road just after 10 p.m. He tried to change lanes but lost control and ended up in the westbound lanes of Brian Dairy Road.

Mouradian collided head-on with Frank C. Berni, 20, of Tampa.

Berni's 2004 Toyota four-door then hit a 2001 Honda two-door, driven by Meghan S. Eveland, 17, of Seminole, the patrol said.

Mouradian; Berni; Berni's passenger Eva Valentina, 22, of Seminole; and Eveland all suffered serious injuries and were taken to local hospitals.
