An Odessa man was killed in a motorcycle accident Sunday morning.
Hee Soong Lee, 54, was riding his 2012 Kawasaki Vulcan Voyager when, at 9:31 a.m., he was involved in an accident at the corner of Tarpon Springs Road and Tyler Road in Odessa with a van driven by Nicholas De Santo.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office reported that De Santo, 29, of Lutz, failed to see the motorcycle when he turned onto Tarpon Springs Road and into its path of travel. The Kawasaki struck the work-issued 2016 Ford Transit Van, owned by Morgan Air.
Officials said Lee was transported to Trinity Hospital in New Port Richey, where he later died from his injuries.
