BRANDON — A brother and sister found at the bottom of a hotel pool Sunday afternoon have both died, authorities said Tuesday.

Sebastiano Greco, 12, was pronounced dead at the scene Sunday, while his sister Kesha Greco, 17, died Tuesday evening at Tampa General Hospital after initially being listed in critical condition.

Bystanders said the two were unresponsive after they were pulled from the pool at the Clarion Inn and Conference Center about 3 p.m. Sunday.

Deputies and Hillsborough County Fire Rescue crews responded to the hotel, located just east of U.S. 301 at 9331 E Adamo Drive, and immediately began efforts to revive the two, the Sheriff's Office said. No foul play is suspected, but deputies have released few details about what led to the teens' deaths.

The siblings lived in Dallas with their parents, Kelly and Monique Greco, but traveled to Tampa for a Father's Day program at Living in Victory Christian Church in Valrico, said TaQuinda Johnson, a spokeswoman for the affiliated Deeper Life Christian Church.

The Grecos are members of a sister church, the New Life Church of North Texas, Johnson said. Family members at Tampa General declined an interview request, as did a hotel manager.

"The only thing we can say is we are deeply saddened by this tragedy and are gathering facts like the family are still gathering facts," Johnson said. "We're just ministering to the family the best we can."

Times senior news researcher John Martin and staff writer Anastasia Dawson contributed to this report.

Correction: This story has been updated to correct the spelling of Sebastiano Greco's first name. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office provided an incorrect spelling.
