A 69-year-old man was found dead in a pond near Terrace Park of Five Towns condominiums Sunday.

Pinellas County Sheriff's deputies were notified that a body appeared to be floating in a pond near 6190 80th Street N. about 8:30 a.m.

Deputies from the Marine Unit retrieved the body of Robert Mulvey, which was floating several yards from the shoreline. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The circumstances around Mulvey's death do not appear to be suspicious, according to the Sheriff's Office. An autopsy report will determine the cause of death.
