The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is investigating a rash of burglaries at Starbucks locations around the state, including one last week in Tampa.
Suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash from the Starbucks at 8229 Parkedge Drive on June 6 after breaking into the store's safe.
Surveillance video captured a suspect entering through the front door after business hours and dismantling part of the security camera before breaking into the safe.
The method used was similar to burglaries at other Starbucks around the state, according to the FDLE.
Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the suspects. Call 1-800-873-TIPS (8477), go online at www.crimestopperstb.com, or use the P3 Tips Mobile application.
