Crews battling blaze at former Winn-Dixie supermarket in Largo

LARGO — Crews were working Saturday to put out a large fire at the former site of a Winn-Dixie supermarket.

Firefighters were called about 11:10 a.m. to the shopping plaza at 11904 Seminole Blvd., Pinellas County 911 records show. Crews from Largo Fire Rescue and Seminole Fire Rescue responded and were still working at 12:30 p.m. to get the fire under control, said Summer Mahr, a spokeswoman for Largo Fire Rescue.

No injuries have been reported, Mahr said.
