ST. PETERSBURG — A 15-year-old girl was arrested Thursday and accused of threatening to bring a gun to Gibbs High School.
The tip about the threatening Facebook post came in Thursday afternoon, according to St. Petersburg police.
The 15-year-old, whose identity was withheld by police because of her age, is a freshman at Gibbs High. In the social media post, she said she was going to take a gun to school, according to police.
Police do not know if the girl had access to a firearm.
She faces a felony charge of making a written threat to kill, do bodily injury or conduct a mass shooting or act of terrorism, police said.
