Her fiance wouldn't crack her back. So she shot their dog.

TARPON SPRINGS — The argument that ended in the death of a 2-year-old dog started with a request, according to police.

Giselle Taylor, 27, wanted her fiance to crack her back early Friday.

He didn't, so she went into her garage, grabbed her 9mm Heckler and Koch semiautomatic pistol out of her car and loaded it, according to a Tarpon Springs police arrest report.

She told police she intended to use it to scare her fiance.

But when she didn't get the response she was hoping for, police said, she pointed the 9mm gun at their boxer and pulled the trigger.

The bullet went into the dog's upper left torso, killing the pup. The report does not include the dog's name. Taylor drove away from the scene but was stopped by police shortly afterward, the report said.

Taylor was arrested on a charge of aggravated animal cruelty. She was booked into the Pinellas County Jail early Friday and released that day after posting $5,000 bail.
