The Brandon shoot-out that ended the lives of two middle school teachers at the hands of an estranged husband will be featured tonight on Investigation Discovery's Forbidden: Dying for Love.

The episode, "The Sum of Love," will air at 10 p.m. and cover the gruesome murders of couple Lisa Fuillerat and Samara Routenberg, who lived together in a quaint east Hillsborough County home and worked at Lake Gibson Middle School in Lakeland.

On Feb. 24, 2017 Lisa Fuillerat's estranged husband, Vincente "Vince" Fuillerat, broke into the women's home at Hickory Creek Drive in Brandon. He was wearing a bullet-proof vest and carried extra ammunition.

Lisa and Vince Fuillerat were scheduled to have a divorce hearing later that afternoon. The man was frustrated his wife had left him for another woman, according to his lawyer.

The women were unable to fight off Vince Fuillerat long. He was wounded by the women's bullets, but ultimately turned his gun on himself after killing them both.

Tampa Bay Times reporting and staff writer Sara DiNatale will also be featured in the episode.
