TAMPA — Police are investigating a separate theft and assault recently at the Victoria's Secret store in Westfield Citrus Park Mall.
On July 7, a black woman wearing a white tank top with "USA" on the front and blue jean shorts got into an argument with a store employee around closing time at 9 p.m., according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.
She had been told to leave because it was closing time, according to the sheriff's office.
Later, a mall security guard also asked the woman to leave. She became angry and hit the guard with a pair of Victoria's Secret Pink brand pants across the left side of his face, according to the sheriff's office.
The woman left the mall through the south exit.
On June 25, according to a sheriff's news release, three suspects stole $1,591 in clothing from the store, stuffing shorts, tank tops and sweaters into bags they brought with them.
Anyone with any information about the incidents may call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 247-8200.
