Deputies investigate drug-related homicide in Riverview

RIVERVIEW — A young man was shot and killed late Tuesday night at a Riverview apartment complex in what authorities believe is a drug-related homicide.

Residents at the complex at 10303 Marsh Harbor Lane heard a gunshot about 9:15 p.m., authorities said. When they came outside, they found 18-year-old David Bernard lying dead outside his apartment.

Hillsborough County sheriff's detectives are investigating the case. They had released few details as of Wednesday morning, but said that two unidentified men are suspected in the killing.
