Deputies searching for man who robbed East Lake pharmacy

EAST LAKE — Deputies were searching Friday for a man who robbed an East Lake pharmacy at gunpoint.

About 9:30 a.m. Friday, a man entered the St. Mark's Pharmacy at 4954 Ridgemoor Blvd. He brandished a handgun and ordered two employees to get on the ground, the Sheriff's Office said. When one employee escaped from the pharmacy and began to scream, the suspect ran away.

No one was hurt during the robbery. The Sheriff's Office did not say Friday what the man stole from the pharmacy.

Deputies said the man, whose face was fully covered, was wearing a camouflage hat, jacket and pants.
