TAMPA — Two men were arrested Monday, deputies said, after shooting into an occupied home and blowing out the windows of a parked car.
Todd W. Rose, 22, and Giovanni Myers, 25, fired a shotgun into a house in the 17800 block of Jamestown Way in northern Hillsborough County around 6:30 a.m., authorities said. After shooting up the house, the pair turned and fired on a parked Chevrolet, officials said. No one was injured.
The men fled in a black Kia Rio, which had been rented to Myers, according to an arrest affidavit.
When authorities caught up to the men and searched the car, they found drugs, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.
Both men face charges of five counts of shooting into an occupied dwelling, criminal mischief and marijuana possession.
