BROOKSVILLE — Four people were arrested last week when the Hernando County Sheriff's Office SWAT team raided a warehouse east of Brooksville, where detectives previously had bought drugs.
Three separate times, undercover officers purchased methamphetamine and marijuana at the building on Kibler Lane, the Sheriff's Office said.
When deputies raided the metal structure, they found more than 2 ounces of crystal methamphetamine and enough hydromorphone, oxymorphone and morphine pills to traffic, the Sheriff's Office said. They also found powder cocaine, crack cocaine, marijuana and hash oil.
Detectives who searched the rest of the property found the frame of a stolen Isuzu sport utility vehicle and a stolen motorcycle. The SUV was dismantled, detectives said.
George Anthony Jackson, 51, of Brooksville; his wife Melinda Ann Eastham-Jackson, 34, of Brooksville; Jenna Lyn Storey, 30, of Homosassa, and James Melvin Golden, 51, of Brooksville were all charged with drug-related crimes. Jackson and Eastham-Jackson, who live at the Kibler Lane address, were also charged with operating a chop shop.
Jackson, nicknamed Anton, was being held at the Hernando County Detention Center in lieu of $136,000 bail. Eastham-Jackson was being held in lieu of $125,000 bail. Storey was being held in lieu of $8,000 bail and Golden in lieu of $3,000 bail.
