TAMPA — Detectives were searching Friday for two suspects they say burglarized Whiskey Willy's Liquors on Sunday after hacking through a window pane with a hatchet.
The store is located at 8020 W Hillsborough Ave.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said the suspects are both white males. One of them, possibly between 16 and 25 years old, has black hair and was sporting a camouflage jacket, jeans and a red bandanna covering the bottom half of his face.
The other suspect, whose age range was unknown, was wearing a black running jacket with a white strip down the arms with a red T-shirt underneath, black running pants and a black head dress covering his head and face.
It was not clear from the surveillance photos what exactly the suspects took, sheriff's spokeswoman Debbie Carter said, though it appears to be four bottles of liquor totaling about $100. It was clear, however, that one of the suspects injured himself on a glass shard upon entry, leaving a blood trail trough the store.
Anyone with any information regarding the suspects is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at (813) 247-8200.
