VALRICO — As neighbors in Lithia Ridge mowed lawns and tended flower beds Tuesday morning, a cleaning service made its way through the home at 3913 Crosstree Lane, where a woman shot and killed her husband Sunday night.
Cynthia Walker, 56, was released Monday morning after the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office decided not to press charges in the homicide of her husband, Robert L. Walker, 65.
The case is still under investigation.
The Hillsborough County Medical Examiner ruled the cause of death as a single gunshot wound through the torso that struck several internal organs.
