ST. PETERSBURG — Police arrested a man they said stripped naked then jumped into a fountain early Wednesday morning near a popular downtown spot.

Pablo Alberto Luna, 25, of Tampa, who is listed as a student in jail records, took off everything but his socks shortly before 2 a.m. and got into a fountain at First Avenue N and Second Street N, according to an arrest affidavit.

The fountain is outside of the Jannus Live entertainment complex.

About 20 other adults saw Luna's leap. So did a police officer, according to the report.

Authorities arrested Luna on charges of exposure of sexual organs and cocaine possession. They said they found approximately 1 gram of the drug in his clothes.

Luna was released from jail about eight hours later, records show.
