ST. PETERSBURG — Authorities are looking for a man wanted in New Hampshire on child pornography charges and for questioning in connection with the death of his parents, police said.

The St. Petersburg Police Department is teaming with the U.S. Marshals Service to find Matthew Thomas Dion, 38. Officials believe he has been in the area since late March.

On March 24, his parents' home in Manchester, N.H. burned to the ground. Both of the elder Dions were found dead inside, and authorities later determined they had been strangled five days before the fire, according to WCVB, a Boston area television station.

Amid the scorched debris, police found child pornography believed to belong to Matthew Dion, according to the Marshals Service.

Dion also is accused of stealing a silver 2013 Hyundai Elantra, bearing Florida tag G673WH, in St. Petersburg on Sept. 6. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Amanda Newton at (727) 893-7780.
