WESLEY CHAPEL — Some would-be burglars with a forklift tried to steal an ATM from a bank early Saturday, the Pasco County Sheriff's Office said.

Authorities received a call about the attempted burglary at TD Bank, 26649 Silver Maple Parkway, about 12:30 a.m., sheriff's spokesman Kevin Doll said.

The suspects drove the forklift up to the ATM and damaged the building while trying to remove it. They did not make off with any cash, Doll said.

Information on the suspects was not immediately available.
