CLEARWATER — A California-based Instagram model was arrested on charges she hit a police officer and resisted arrest, all while nude and roaming the Edge Hotel last week.

Brissa Dominguez-Garcia, 25, shouldn't have even been at the waterfront hotel, Clearwater police wrote in a report. When she was asked to leave, she refused, a hotel manager told officers. It was 4:20 a.m. on Wednesday.

When police tried to hand her a towel to cover up, she used it "in a whipping motion" to strike an officer in the face, the report said.

Then, she started kicking, police said, even throwing a "mule kick" to strike the officer trying to calm her down.

Dominguez-Garcia has more than 74,000 followers on Instagram, where she posts a mix of professional photos and selfies under the username @baybaddiebrie.

At the same time that Wednesday night, police were responding to a man who was walking around the hotel drunk and naked.

It's unclear if the two incidents were related.

Dominguez-Garcia was held in Pinellas County jail before making her $10,250 bail.
