The Tampa Police Department is searching for a man who robbed a pharmacy of prescription drugs at gunpoint Friday morning.

The robbery was captured by a security camera inside Express Special Pharmacy, 4111 Henderson Blvd. The man walked into the pharmacy about 9:45 a.m. and drew a firearm as he approached an employee behind the counter, demanding prescription drugs, police said.

A struggle broke out between the two, but the employee eventually cooperated with the man and turned over the prescriptions, police said.

Police described him as between 35 and 45 years old, about 6 feet tall with a medium build and short black hair with a receding hairline. During the robbery the man wore prescription glasses, black pants, a black mask, and a white tank top under a black hoodie.
