BROOKSVILLE — An 18-year-old Brooksville man who admitted having sexual contact with a 9-year-old girl was arrested Friday and charged with molestation of a minor, authorities said. Jeffrey Andrew Lamp of 626 S Broad St. confessed to molesting the girl on two separate occasions, Brooksville police said in a media release. Someone tipped off police to a possible sex offense, prompting investigators to interview Lamp. Booked on two counts, Lamp remained in the Hernando County Detention Center on Friday in lieu of $30,000 bail.
