A Tampa man was found shot to death Wednesday morning just west of the University of South Florida and investigators are looking for a minivan seen in the area — a silver, 2003 Honda Odyssey.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office learned of the shooting about 4 a.m. through its ShotSpotter system, a gunshot triangulation system that uses a network of sensitive microphones to detect gunfire.
The victim was identified as Antonio Lamar Bradshaw, 34, of 4508 E. Frierson Ave. Responding to a ShotSpotter alert near 15th Street and Gragston Circle, deputies found Bradshaw on the ground at 1802 French Creek Road with at least one gunshot wound.
Authorities are looking for a silver-blue minivan with Florida license tag DESC87. The vehicle has a luggage rack on the roof and a trailer hitch on the rear.
Anyone with any information may call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 247-8200 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477).
