Authorities are searching for a motorcycle driver who they say ran over a 16-year-old girl Friday night.

Around 9:30 p.m., Tiara Craddock of Safety Harbor was walking with friends on 10th Avenue N when she turned west on 7th Street N to head home and was struck by a motorcycle, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.

The motorcyclist then fled the scene, authorities say. They do not have a description of the driver but said blue pieces of the motorcycle were found at the scene.

Craddock suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was flown to Bayfront Medical Center.
