Three teenagers were hurt, two seriously, in a car crash on Westlake Boulevard early Wednesday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Joseph Albert Cline, of Palm Harbor, and Brooklyn Kali-Bleu Bridges, of Tarpon Springs, both 18, were taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg with serious injuries after the crash, troopers said. Cline was driving a 2005 Nissan Altima southbound when he apparently lost control around a curve and hit a tree near Nebraska Avenue about 12:14 a.m., according to the Highway Patrol.

Troopers believe alcohol was a factor in the crash. Jacob R. Wilson, 18, of Palm Harbor, suffered minor injuries. No charges had been filed Wednesday morning.

No further information was immediately available.
