Fire in Brandon causing large amounts of smoke

BRANDON — Hillsborough County Fire Rescue is on the scene of a fire coming from a detached garage on Bryan Road in Brandon.

According to fire officials, only a boat was inside the garage when the fire started Monday morning. The cause is unknown.

The fire is causing a lot of smoke that can be seen for miles, officials said, and there are no known injuries or fatalities.
