A fire destroyed a single-story wood-frame house in Tampa early Tuesday morning.
According to Tampa Fire Rescue officials, firefighters responding to 911 E 12th Ave. around 12:40 a.m., found heavy smoke and flames coming from the roof.
Firefighters couldn't enter the house due to the intensity of the fire, which caused the house to become unstable, officials said.
Firefighters gained control of the fire around 1:30 a.m., officials said, and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire has yet to be determined, officials said, and an investigation is ongoing.
