A 57-year-old man was arrested Saturday after authorities found him cleaning a motorcycle while his house was on fire, according to the Pinellas Park Police Department.

Gregory Gallagher was in a neighbor's driveway when authorities responded to a suspicious fire at 5310 97th Terrace around 7:56 a.m. He was cleaning the motorcycle and acting erratically and indifferent to the fact that his house was on fire, authorities said.

Authorities detained Gallagher. They investigated the fire. They said no one was inside the home or injured by the blaze.

Gallagher was transported to the Pinellas County Jail, where he was being held on one count of arson.
