A portion of State Road 54 is reopening in Trinity on Thursday afternoon after a tanker began to leak fuel.

All lanes were shut down between Gunn Highway and Trinity Boulevard due to the offloading of fuel from a leaking tanker, according to Pasco County Fire Rescue.

Officials say the driver observed a small fuel leak while extinguishing a brake fire.
