An Inverness man collided with a tree and was killed early Sunday morning, Florida Highway Patrol troopers reported.
Stevie S. Gadsden, 38, was driving south on County Road 481, near U.S. 41, in a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica just after 4 a.m. when he ran a stop sign, troopers said. Gadsden traveled across U.S. 41, through the grassy shoulder and into a tree.
Gadsden died at the scene. He was not wearing his seatbelt, troopers reported.
No other vehicles were involved.
