HUDSON — A 56-year-old pedestrian was killed Sunday after walking into traffic, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Christian Duff Morrow of Tampa died at the scene on U.S. 19 in Hudson, just north of Edna Avenue, the agency said.

Troopers said Morrow was crossing the road about 10 p.m. Sunday with another man, 34-year-old Larry Kenneth Crawford of Hudson. Crawford was in a wheelchair.

The two entered the path of Karen Ramsey, 74, of Hudson, who was driving a 2012 Mitsubishi SUV, troopers said.

The SUV collided with the two pedestrians, killing Morrow, troopers said. Crawford and Ramsey received minor injuries.

No charges are expected.
