ST. PETERSBURG — A 64-year-old bicyclist died in a crash Thursday morning that shut down part of 64th Street S, according to St. Petersburg police.Sheldon Wagner Jr. was riding his bike north in the southbound lane of 64 Street S at about 7:20 a.m., police said. He was riding on the west side of the road, police said, when at Bougainvilla Avenue S, he made a sudden turn to cross over to the east side of the road.He ended up riding his bike into a Nissan Altima driven by Lakeba Brown. Police said the driver wasn't able to react fast enough to avoid the collision.Wagner, of St. Petersburg, was taken to Palms at Pasadena Hospital.
