Around 1 a.m. on Tuesday, police say someone staying on the second floor of the Sheraton Suites Tampa Airport Westshore,4400 W Cypress St, heard screaming "No! Stop!" from inside a white van in the parking lot. He could also see a man violently swinging his arm into the vehicle.

The unidentified man then entered the van and then the car slowly pulled out of the lot toward W Cypress Street, police said.

When police arrived, the van was gone but they found blood splatters in the parking lot.

That's when police started investigating a possible abduction.

Then, around 1:30 p.m., the Jacksonville Sheriff's office responded to a call in which a handcuffed man was calling for help. The man said he was kidnapped in Tampa and then held against his will at the Ice Lounge, 8510 Lancrest Drive in Jacksonville.

Deputies did not find anybody else inside the lounge.

The man had non-life threatening injuries to his face and other places on his body, police said.

Tampa Police and the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office continue to investigate.
