LARGO — Power was restored to the Pinellas County Criminal Justice Center and jail after an outage Friday morning left it without power for roughly two hours, a court official said.
The power went out to the courthouse and jail, located along 49th Street N, about 6 a.m. It was restored at 8:15 a.m.
The courthouse is normally scheduled to open at 7:30 a.m., but because of the power failure, it opened one hour later, said 6th Judicial Circuit spokesman Ron Stuart. A line of people had formed outside.
All scheduled proceedings will be held, Stuart said.
