ST. PETERSBURG — A St. Petersburg man was arrested Monday on charges he molested his girlfriend's two young daughters, police said.

According to the St. Petersburg Police Department, Daniel Morgan Jr., of St. Petersburg, was charged with two counts of sexual battery on a child less than 12 years old. Two arrest reports indicate that Morgan, 32, inappropriately touched the girls, ages 9 and 11, on "several occasions."

The arrest report states that Morgan had been dating and living with the girls' mother.

Morgan was also charged with failure to pay child support.

He is currently being held in Pinellas County Jail in lieu of $300,000 bond.
