TRINITY — Two Pasco County firefighters and another individual were taken to the hospital Monday with injuries from an early morning fire.
One firefighter fell while battling the blaze at a home on the 10500 block of Marsha Drive in Trinity. The other firefighter, and a 17 year old, inhaled smoke. All three were released from the hospital Monday morning.Their names were not released.
Pasco County Fire Rescue responded to the call at about 2:50 a.m. Firefighters reported heavy smoke and flames at the front of the home.
It took them about 25 minutes to control the fire. The America Red Cross was called to provide shelter and clothes for five residents and a dog.
Firefighters were still investigating the cause of the fire Monday.
